Christian is a career firefighter/ EMT with over 20 years experience in fire/rescue. He began firefighting in high school and volunteered while at college before becoming a career firefighter. In his career Christian has been a firefighter with county/rural, municipal and now a contract firefighter at a federal facility.
Christian is an IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation College) certified Instructor, a National Registry EMT, high angle and confined space rescue technician, a Hazardous Materials and Clandestine Lab technician, an American Safety and Health Institute Instructor, and is currently a completing his Bachelor’s of Science in Fire Administration.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Christian was asked to assist in the formation of a Mountain/Wilderness Search and Rescue Team, where his training has given him the opportunity to teach techniques that can be utilized with a limited amount of equipment.
A devoted father and husband Christian’s time not spent working, training or teaching is spent going on “adventures” with his wife Amy and his young son Alan.
